I absolutely love these books and have been a fan from day 1. I own all the "print" books,which is how I started. the cast of characters has always been quite colorful and now they even get lei'd!! opps I guess Marco has finally gotten to me. I will forever love Gemma for this wonderful series and SHOES. Maddie and Ramirez do it again,this time in Hawaii. Gemma Halliday has written another winner in this great series. Maddie and Ramirez prove that married couples can be interesting, adventurous and sexy. Couple them with a good mystery and the fun entourage that accompany Maddie and I just kept turning the pages and hated to see it end.
I will be looking forward to the next one.
I've read all the High Heels books and do love Gemma Halliday's writing. I'd like to say I LOVED this one, but not as much. It was entertaining, but if you've read the others, you know the general plot twists that will happen. I think I'd like more of Maddie's actual life and less of her discovering dead bodies and being injured while solving crimes. Of course, I totally expect a bit of a mystery, but I enjoy her personal drama as much as her crime solving abilities.
Easy read funny book. Great to take when traveling. I enjoyed it because I have read other Gemma Halliday books and I really enjoyed them. Just ordered another one.
I have really enjoyed the High Heels series, and this book was no different. They are funny and entertaining, with some suspense thrown in. I feel like I've really gotten to know the characters throughout the series. If you are new to this series, I would strongly suggest starting with book one and working your way through the series. You'll enjoy it more that way. I actually reread the series prior to starting #9, and I enjoyed it even more the second time )
Maddie is back and in trouble again. Love this book and series as each book gets better and better. Couldn't put it down. Supporting characters along with Maddie are charming and loveable and the mischief they get into will make you laugh out loud at times. Always a good mystery that is hard to figure out until the very end. Gemma hurry up and write book #10!

Maddie and her gang are back with more fashion at a beauty pageant. They are in beautiful Hawaii on a girls only trip. What could be better? Maybe a pageant without a murder. I bet you can guess who found the poor dead girl? Yes none other than Maddie. If only she can keep her hulk of a husband from finding out. Another fun filled mystery in the most peace place in the world.. I enjoy getting a behind the scenes of pageant and their secrets.
